 Bios 

Tiffany Weagly (Department Director/ Producer/ Captain) 

    Tiffany is tickled pink to produce this show. She has been the Captain of the ship of 1139 since 2005. Under her direction the program has grown to be pretty amazing. Legally Blonde is her 10th musical production and it all started with You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. In her sparse spare time, she enjoys running, reviewing local restaurants, watching movies, and dreaming. In addition to helping shape young minds, Tiffany also freelances as a casting director and has cast several films, theme park shows, and commercials. 

 

 

Rob Winn Anderson (Director) 

    Rob is excited to add his third mainstage production to the award-winning Large Group musical numbers he has staged for Boone High School.  An award winning-playwright and acclaimed director, Rob is noted for his ease in all genres - drama, comedy, farce, musicals and much more.  Selected works include: Steppin’ Out with Irving Berlin; Dracula; She Loves Me; Shipwrecked; Superior Donuts (Southeastern Regional premiere); The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Southeastern Regional premiere); The Matchmaker;The Rainmaker; An Inspector Calls; The Wizard of Oz (upcoming); The Paper Bag Princess; A Nutty Nutcracker Christmas: James and the Giant Peach;The Queen’s Physician;Almost, Maine;After Juliet;Maryland; Shatter the Sky;Noodling Inspiration;The Sandman Says Goodnight;A Thurber Carnival;Anne of the Thousand Days and The Miracle Worker.  A former professional dancer, Rob is also known for his innovative choreography and musical staging.

 

    Rob majored in Theater, Film/Television and Radio at Northwestern University.  After this, he enjoyed a successful career as a performer and choreographer in national tours and repertory theaters.  His move into the world of writing and directing was guided by notable influences like the Lincoln Center’s Directors Lab. 

 

    As a playwright, Rob’s plays have been featured at Edward Albee’s Great Plains Theatre Conference as well as the Kennedy Center Playwrighting Intensive and Sewanee Writers’ Conference.  Rob is a member of the Dramatists Guild of America Inc., Chicago Dramatists, the Lincoln Center Directors Lab, the Playwright’s Center, SAG, AEA, AFTRA and AGVA.

 

 

 Bonnie Sprung (Set Designer)

    Bonnie is very happy to be back at Boone, she recently designed Anatomy of Gray and Untitled One Act. Bonnie has a BA from Hofstra University in Set Design and Graphics, along with her AA from Valencia Community College in Fine Art. For over 100 shows locally and in NY, since 1980, Bonnie has done set design, scenic painting, make-up and stage managing. For thirteen years she worked as Set /Scenic designer for the BCC Summer Fine Arts program and the JCC Center Players. Bonnie, has shown her fine artwork in numerous exhibitions and has received several awards. www.BonnieSprung.com
