 End Notes

BELIEVE…

Believe seems to be the newest phrase when talking about Christmas.

I have to say that I think the kids who are and have been on this stage are pretty unbelievable.  They surprise me every time we do a performance by acting like professionals and doing things that many adults would never do in front of a crowd. I love that they believe in the arts and trust me enough to do everything that I ask them, even if they feel funny doing it.  One of the first things that I tell them at the beginning of every show is, I will never ask you to do something that I wouldn’t do up there myself. I am so blessed to be performing in this show with two of my own children and all these others that I consider my own now too. I can’t put into words how proud I am of these guys for all their hard work and dedication. Several of these students are involved in another show, play in the band, are in choir, lead the school with Student Council or show their Bobcat Pride by cheering. Honestly, many of them do two or three of these activities and still manage to keep high academic standing. They’re an amazing bunch of kids and I am so excited to be part of this cast as well as their Director.

Believe that we have the best and most supportive parents ever too. I know every orginazation has a booster group that takes care of them but ours go beyond any other. They have prepared dinner for us every night of tech week, they buy, drive, pickup, bake, fold, type, paint, glitter, sew, beg, burrow, hang posters, sell tickets wash costumes and smile the whole time they do it, and then ask what they can do next.  They have performed some unbelievable tasks. I would love to mention each one of you and the deeds you have performed but there isn't enough space here for that here. Just know that you have my deepest gratitude.

Jenny thank you for the support and talent you give to every show and to me with each of these endeavors that we get ourselves into. If it weren't for you we wouldn't be doing a musical and I know that all the little details might go undone.

I also need to thank the staff and the administration who beieve in and  stand behind this program and it's benefits for our students. Please know that your support does not go unoticed by me or the students.

I am posting another Christmas wish here...

Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
