Emily is a Carbondale Illinois native and proud graduate of University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music (CCM). Recent credits include Julia Trojan in Bandstand (Tulane Summer Lyric), Joanna in Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner (Flat Rock Playhouse), and Medium Alison in Fun Home (Cincinnati Ensemble Theatre). Emily is playwright of Falling Forward: a New Musical (NYMF Finalist), and voice teacher certifying with the Institute for Vocal Advancement. Martin Giannini
as Captain Georg von Trapp
Martin Giannini is a proud BMA parent thrilled to be making his debut at the Black Rock Theatre. Martin is an accomplished theatrical manager and producer, serving as General Manager of the Broadway Dreams Foundation, and winning an Olivier Award in 2012 for his London production of Long Day's Journey Into Night. As a performer, Martin has appeared in productions of Les Miserables (North Shore Music Theater), The Civil War (TWUSA), and Beauty and the Beast (Santa Rosa Rep). Michelle Jennings
as The Mother Abbess
This season, Michelle understudied four roles in Milwaukee Rep’s Titanic, The Musical, and she was Fiordiligi for Così Fan Tutte, in Cleveland and New York City. Off-Broadway: Donatella in Mike and Mindy’s Wild Weekend Jam at The Players Theatre; The Diva/Film Executive in A Sketch of New York at the Producers’ Club Theatre; and Roxanne understudy in Figaro, 90210! at the Duke Theatre. Regional: Nellie in South Pacific in Honolulu and Tulsa, Marian in The Sound of Music in Annapolis. Michelle’s a co-writer and performer for Divas Unleashed - The Benefit.
