    Rachel Cabrera is thrilled to be playing Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray Jr. Rachel has loved the theatre since a young age and has been singing her whole life. She has played Mitchie Torres in Camp Rock and hopes her future will continue to be filled with music and theater.

  • Carmela Urbano

    as Penny Pingleton

    Carmela Urbano is an honor student who is proud of her work ethic. She enjoys singing and dancing for her family and friends and she is very creative. She volunteers for Girl Scouts and with her church. This army brat loves Pretty Little Liars and hopes to be on Broadway or become a pastry chef. Carmela congratulates the cast of Hairspray 2017.

  • Darianny Bautista

    as Edna Turnblad

    Darianny Bautista - is extremely excited and proud to be making her very first stage debut for the BMS theatre arts company. Previously , Darianny has participated in several dancing singing and modeling events such as the 2011 "las chiquitinas" modeling pageant in her descendent country , The Dominican Republic , the 2016 second annual hispanic heritage month day event in which she danced "bachata" , and her most recent event the 2017 second annual multi cultural day as well as Belleville's 148th birthday in which she sang "corre, corre" by jesse y joy . Darianny also had the privilege of taking ballet and hip hop dancing lessons for 4 years from the ages of 7-11. Darianny wishes to thank her family in particular her mother for instilling in her a great love and passion for acting, singing, and dance. She also wishes to thank the audience because without them there would be no play. She hopes you all enjoy the show.
