Caitie Almond
Director
Caitie's journey into the world of theatre ignited during her freshman year of high school and has since evolved into a lifelong passion. She attended Pittsburg State University in Kansas, where she attained both a Bachelor's degree in Theatre Education and a Master's degree in Theatre, specializing in directing. Caitie has directed over a dozen full-length theatre productions, in addition to numerous children's theatre and improv comedy shows, leaving her creative imprint in both Pittsburg, Kansas and Salt Lake City, Utah. For the past seven years, Caitie has dedicated herself to nurturing young talents as a language arts and theatre educator. She finds immense joy in breathing life into stories on the stage and imparting her love for the arts to budding artists. This is Caitie's first season (and second production) directing here at Battle Mountain. She feels privileged to guide these amazing students, aiding in their artistic and personal growth.

David Mayer
Director
David graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Science in Design. After college he lived and worked in New York City for 12 years before moving to the Vail valley. This is his fifth year as director/production manager at Battle Mountain High School after previously being a parent volunteer on BMHS Players productions since 2012. Locally he has also worked on productions for Homestake Peak School and the Vail Valley Theatre Company. While living in New York City he served as a stage manager/assistant technical director on two Off Off-Broadway productions. He would like to thank his wife Leah, son August and their dog Bear for their support, encouragement and love. A special thanks to his cohorts Levi, Caitlin and Shannon also our awesome stage managers and amazing cast and crew. Thank you all for sharing my passon and bringing my all time favorite musical, Chicago to life.

Levi Walker
Musical Director
Levi Walker graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2019 with a degree in Choral Music Education. After teaching choir and theatre at Beechwood Middle School in SC for two years, Walker moved to Eagle County to take the same position at Battle Mountain High School. Walker is passionate educating students in the performing arts, but helping students grow as people is what fulfills him. Walker is perpetually inspired by his parents among various other mentors, and he loves to dote on his baby niece.
