The American High School Theatre Festival has once again chosen Baton Rouge High’s Theatre Program to perform as part of the 2024 Edinburgh Fringe Festival!  The Edinburgh Fringe Festival is held annually in Edinburgh, Scotland and is widely considered the world’s largest and most prestigious theatre festival.

Each year over 3000 high school programs in North America are nominated to compete for the privilege of performing at AHSTF as a part of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.  The program is evaluated on a number of factors including artistic philosophy, community outreach, recent success of alumni in the performing arts and quality of productions.  We won!  We are one of 60 schools from Canada and the United States that were chosen to perform in the August 2024 festival. 

In addition, the National Performing Arts Festival at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida as chosen our Program to be adjudicated at their festival in March 2023.
