Samantha is thrilled to be back for her second show at the Bastrop Opera House, following her introductory performance here in Prelude to a Kiss (Rita). This role has been an excellent challenge, and she wants to extend her appreciation to her fellow cast members and incredible director for all their hard work, thoughtfulness, and dedication.
Syvannah Riley

as Gloria

Syvannah began with the BOH in 2021. She has been a part of 9 shows since then and is happy to bring this show to life with the other cast members! Her appearances include 8 youth acts and one main stage (Willy Wonka). Her favorite role has been Captain Dangerous. In the future, Syvannah hopes to become an actress and continue to make people smile.
Derek Byzinski

as Mike Talman

Derek is excited to return to the Opera House in Wait Until Dark. Speaking of dark, Derek recently played Tinker Bell in Druid and Bards production of Peter Pan in Georgetown. On the lighter side, Derek enjoyed playing Brick in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof at the Gaslight Baker Theater in May. Wait Until Dark also reunites him with director Christine Long.
Collin Moore

as Sgt. Carlino

Collin is honored to be cast as Carlino in his first straight play at BOH. Since his first show in 2022, he's been part of several productions including Addams Family, Music Man, Willy Wonka, and Drowsy Chaperone. Collin is proud to be a part of the BOH family and he’d like to thank his beautiful wife and children for their unconditional support during all the rehearsals!
Dustin Bartee

as Roat

Dustin is relishing this villainous role, and thankful to the talented cast and production team for the experience. He proudly serves at Bastrop Christian Church, and is the Instructor for the BOH Youth Academy. Past credits include The Music Man (Harold Hill), ELF (Buddy), and Little Shop Of Horrors (Orin Scrivello) — Broadway World Austin Best Supporting Actor Award.
