DIRECTOR'S NOTE
I can't believe it's been one year since we first moved to Anthem. So much has happened and the theatre has grown so fast!! This is by far one of the best summers I have had. This past year has brought a lot of challenges along the way but it has showed me with hard work, determination, and passion you can accomplish a lot!
My mom had a huge love for the ocean. It was her happy place. In May of 2020, she was diagnosed with Leukemia. One of our main reasons for moving back to AZ was to spend more time with her. She LOVED the Little Mermaid. When we finished Willy Wonka Jr. last year, I got to go to San Diego with her as our last trip together. We discussed picking this show for next summer so I got the royalties and here we are! We all thought she was on the mend and were excited for her to see my version of this show. Sadly, she passed right before Christmas Pageant which made things emotionally hard. I always like to set little rememberances for her because of her love for the ocean. In this show, the vase you see in the palace was one my mom had for a long time. My mom was a positive, wonderful person who supported my goals and dreams and I would not be here today if it was not for her. I am so thankful for her and know that she will continuously live on through me and the art I bring to the theatre.
So much hard work and passion have been poured into this show from actors to parents to volunteers alike. I could not be more proud of all the growth the kids have shown! Thank you so much for coming today to show your support for the theatre!

Banzerini House is a non-profit production company established in 2007. We believe in therapeutic theater and imaginative storytelling. Aimed at keeping the art of theater alive and thriving; we provide a safe place for the community to express themselves while discovering their inner artist.
The Banzerini House provides educational performing arts programs in a professional theater setting which allows our members to grow while pursuing their creative passions. Our programs allow members to take new paths and explore arts they might not have ever had the chance to explore.
Our goal is to help our members grow up healthier, happier, and kinder. We hope to inspire others to live confidently and follow their dreams.
