Colorado native Rick Long has been seen on stages all over the United States and Europe, with this marking his debut for the Bailey Theater Company. Extremely grateful to Bill, Heidi, Brendan, and my lovely Hayes. With an MFA in Theater from UW-Milwaukee, Rick has appeared with the Arvada Center, Town Hall Arts Center, Vintage Theater, Platte Valley Players, Stage One, The Arizona Theatre Company, the Monomoy Theatre on Cape Cod, and appeared as a Guest Artist at the Colorado Shakespeare Festival and the Tony Award-winning Utah Shakespearean Festival. Nominated in 2022 as Best Supporting Actor for a Henry Award for his portrayal of Big Daddy in Cat On A Hot Tin Roof, Rick has also served on the Theater Faculty at the University of Colorado Boulder, teaching acting classes, and is an internationally exhibited watercolor artist with his studio across the street from Coors Field! • Hayes Burton head shot

as Arles Struvie, Didi Snavely, Harold Dean Lattimer, Petey Fisk, Jody Bumiller, Stanley Bumiller Charlene Bumiller, Chad Hartford, Phinas Blye, Vera Carp, Coach

Hayes Burton is thrilled to be visiting Tuna, Texas for the first time! A lifelong fan of the show after watching dozens and dozens of duo interp routines as a teenager, he finally gets to bring the town to life! When he isn’t on stage he’s slinging drinks downtown, spending time with his beloved pooch, or singing his heart out. He endeavors to live by the words of the great Sasha Colby: be a joy to be around!

    Director

Brendan is thrilled to be directing for Bailey Theatre Company for the first time! He has been creating in Colorado theatres for most of his life as a director, actor, designer, and technician, and has worked on over 25 productions in the last five years. He recently received his Masters degree in theatre from Villanova University, where he worked as a stage manager and graduate assistant in the costume department. His directing thesis explored the use of decolonized, care-based practices in the production process. Directing credits include Rogue’s Gallery, Oliver!, and Julia Taudevin’s Move.
