Jessica Jones is thrilled to be playing Kate in “Taming of the Shrew.” She previously has worked with Babbling Brook Players in a 1920s production of “Much Ado About Nothing” playing a gender swapped Conrad (Connie.) She just finished up a production playing Mary in “Quite Contrary” at The Barn Theatre. Jessie, as her friends call her, recently graduated from Bergen Community College with an associate’s degree in acting and is planning on continuing her education at SUNY Purchase with a bachelor’s in theater with a concentration in acting. Some of her previous productions include, “What I Did Last Summer” where she played Anna, “Brighton Beach Memoirs” where she played Blanche, “The Miracle Worker” where she played Aunt Ev, “The Clouds” where she was part of the chorus and “South Pacific” where she played Lieutenant Genevieve Marshall. Jessie wants to thank each and every person who was a part of this production and who helped bring it into fruition.
