Theatre Bites
Auburn Create and Performing Arts (CAPA) Program is an intensive arts program hosted at Auburn High School by Rockford Public School District 205 in Rockford, IL. CAPA Theatre Arts are a strong portion of this program with productions directed by James L. Crow and Joselyn Ludtke. Musical direction is headed by Beth Heuer. Auburn CAPA has been successful on both a regional and statewide level, bringing several shows to the Illinois High School Theatre Festival along with IHSA State Drama and Group Interpretation Competitions. We hope to not just keep you entertained for a few hours, but to leave some permanent marks, whether they come from lions, vampires, bullets, reality, losing, or the love bug. Through our season we want to teach and learn for ourselves, that theatre isn’t a temporary thing, it leaves a mark on all of us.
