Rich Lovallo (Music Director) is a graduate of Ramapo College with a B.A. in Theatre. He has worked professionally as a music director at the scholastic, college, community, and professional level for many years. He was music director for Aspire’s productions of The Addams Family, Legally Blonde, The Drowsy Chaperone Jr., All Shook Up, Big Fish, Mamma Mia, Disney’s The Lion King JR., Newsies JR., Madagascar - A Musical Adventure JR., Children of Eden, and You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown. Rich directed/musically directed many shows for Rhino Theatre, and was part of the voice faculty for NJPAC Summer Youth Performance Workshop. He was also resident musical director for 14 years at the Worth-Tyrrell School of Performing Arts in Morristown, NJ. Aside from his theatrical endeavors, he is the Director of Music Ministries at Butler United Methodist Church in Butler, NJ. He is also a co-founder and current President of the Triad Arts Ensemble, and sings with the Triad Vocal Ensemble. With Triad he performs in an annual benefit concert for NJ AIDS related charities (www.canticlesforlife.org). In whatever time is left, he is husband to his wonderful wife, Jennifer, father to four amazing children, Sophie, Anna, Marcus and Michael, and grandfather to Julian. Rich gives all glory and praise to God for the gift of music.
Melanie Della Peruti (Choreographer) is so excited to be choreographing her ninth show with Aspire Performing Arts Company! She previously choreographed Aspire's productions of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory JR., Dare to Dream, The Prom, The Addams Family, Shrek the Musical JR., 13, Legally Blonde, and Disney's Moana JR. Melanie is a graduate of Montclair State University where she studied dance and elementary education, and is currently a Kindergarten teacher. She has previously worked with The Cranford Dramatic Club and Onstage Theater Camp where she has choreographed shows such as Seussical, The Addams Family, Mamma Mia, and Legally Blonde. She is SO proud of the cast and cannot thank them enough for all of their hard work. Thanks to Lisa, Scott, Rich, Brynn, and Cheryl for being a great team!
