Jennifer Johnson

Assistant Director

Jennifer is thrilled to be working with the talented staff and students of AHS again, after co-directing last year's production of Into the Woods and creating the video content for 2021's production of Songs For A New World. 

When she isn't driving up and down valley to collaborate with some of her favorite people, Jennifer is the Executive Director of Sol Theatre Company in Carbondale, which she co-founded with Logan Carter. Most recently, she directed and produced The Fantastic Mr. Fox, and is looking forward to Sol's production of Ride the Cyclone this summer. In addition to Assistant Directing "Pirates", she is currently directing Zeus on the Loose for Thunder River Theatre Company's Theatre for Young Audiences program. She is grateful to be working with the talented students here at AHS, as she believes whole-heartedly in the power of theatre to transform lives.

Dani Taylor-Moxon

Stage Manager

Dani Taylor-Moxon is excited to join the Pirates team. She is currently the Managing Director for Thunder River Theatre Company and Sol Theatre Company. Prior experiences include,  General Manager for Theatre Aspen,  Director of Production at Des Moines Metro Opera, the Resident Stage Manager for the Rose Theatre in Omaha, NE., and Production Stage Manager for the national tours of Bye Bye Birdie, Cabaret, and AltarBoyz. Dani received her BA in Technical Theatre from Purdue University and her MFA in Production Management and Arts Administration from Boston University. Thank you to Craig Moxon for bringing it back to where it all started and staying silent during standbys.
