This year, the senior members of the cast thought it would be fun if they wrote fake bios for each other. The bios are below:
Lyon Hamill (Pippin)
Lyon or Papa Smurf, as his friends call him, is thrilled to be playing Pippin in his last high school production. He is the definition of a triple threat with flawless dancing, singing, and acting abilities. Many people have commented on his incredible ability to bring an audience to tears. He was awarded the Senior Scholarship Award at Thescon this year, you may have read about it in the papers. Previous roles include Charlie in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Edward Bloom in Big Fish, and almost every lead in local theater productions. When he grows up, he aspires to become a vacuum designer. He wants to thank couscous for providing delicious rehearsal snacks.
Luke Ryan (Leading Player)
Luke Ryan is humbled to be the leading player in his senior show. Next year he will be attending the American Musical Dramatic Academy while also maintaining his hobby of avocado farming. Luke has been performing throughout the valley for many years but his favorite role would have to be the Chocolate Cow in Willy Wonka. In his free time, Luke enjoys collecting Shopkins and watching Cars.
Nakiri Gallagher-Cave (Fastrada)
Nakiri, widely known as Nariri, is elated to play Fastrada is her last high school performance, mostly due to the fact that she does not have to act in this role. When Nakiri is not acting she spends her time studying, working, partying, and looking ridiculously photogenic as a burrito. Though Nakiri has many virtues, she does have one serious condition: long-term, short-term, and medium-term memory loss. Everybody knows that her friend, Damien, went to Spain. He, supposedly, talks about it constantly. Even so, Nakiri never seems to pass up an opportunity to exclaim, “Damien, did you go to Spain?!.” Nakiri is an accomplished actress, having played Vivian in Legally Blonde and “A Silly Girl” in Beauty and the Beast. Nakiri would like to dedicate this performance to Shrek.
Kaia Vresilovic (Berthe)
Kaia is a senior at Aspen High School and is thrilled to be playing her dream role in her favorite show! Other credits include Annie, Willy Wonka, Singing in the Rain, and Legally Blonde. Aside from theatre Kaia enjoys flying kites, bubble baths with her rubber ducky, and spending her senior year with every known virus and sickness known to the human world. Kaia plans on pursuing criminal studies next year with a minor in dance and party invitation/card making. She would like to thank Luke Ryan for being the best friend a girl could ask for, Shrek for the endless laughs, as well as her family and the creative team for being supportive and amazing.
Katia Galambos (Cathrine)
Katia is so excited to finally be portraying Catherine in AHS's Pippin because she is also an average, ordinary kind of woman. She enjoys theatre because it’s like playing a team sport without all of the athleticism. Katia’s favorite roles include Aspiring Dragon (Everyday Life) and Merlin Enthusiast (To Anyone Who Cares). Outside of theatre, Katia’s hobbies include magnets. Katia is so excited to be in Pippin and wishes her entire cast (but especially her favorite people Daryl and Julia) the best of luck!
Damien Beecroft (Lewis)
Damien Oliver Beecroft está muy emocionado, porque va interpretar Lewis en Pippin. El ama el teatro y ha actuado toda la vida.
