    Director

    Logan Carter is the Theatre Teacher for Aspen High School & Middle School. Logan Carter received a BFA in Acting from the Theatre School at DePaul University in Chicago. Logan has taught and directed children's theatre for Theatre Aspen, Thunder River Theatre, Jayne Gottlieb Productions and Carbondale Middle School before founding SoL Theatre Company in 2012 based in Carbondale. Logan would like to thank her husband, Chase, for his support and help during the many hours away from home during rehearsals. Love to Josie Joy!

    Kyle Jones

    Music Director

    Kyle Jones is thrilled to be Music Director for his first show as a music teacher at Aspen. He has directed many shows with ACT, Defiance, and Stage Door Theater previously including Beauty and the Beast, Lion King, and Les Miserables. He is a prominent pianist in the valley playing regularly at the Riviera Restaurant in Glenwood Springs and for many productions in the valley and throughout Colorado including You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, Once Upon a Mattress, Sweeney Todd, Anything Goes, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, All Shook Up, and many more. Kyle studied music education at the University of Northern Colorado, taught vocal music at Rifle Middle School, and currently teaches band, guitar and ukulele class, and digital music production at Aspen Middle and High School.

    Marisa Post

    Choreographer

    Marisa Post (Choreographer)- received her theatre education at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and studied Music Theatre Interpretation with Arabella How Young of the Uta Hagen Studio. She studied dance and choreography with Luigi and at the Phil Black Studios in NYC. Marisa has worked as a professional actress, singer and dancer in New York and nationally. She has appeared in shows including Fiddler on the Roof, Godspell, Company, Picasso at the Lapin Agile, Little Shop of Horrors, West Side Story and Cabaret. Marisa has directed and choreographed plays, musicals, and operas including Steel Magnolias, Chicago, the Sound of Music, La Boheme, Seussical, Beauty and the Beast, All Shook Up, and Big Fish. Marisa has served as the choreographer and movement instructor for the Opera/Theatre Center of the Aspen Music Festival and School and was the first Director of Education at Theatre Aspen, a position she held for more than a decade.
