Artios of Sugar Hill

   Creative Team

Producer: John Lane is a 2004 graduate of the Artios Conservatory. On April 3rd, 2010, John married the love of his life, Windy Lane, who also teaches and choreographs with Artios. The Lord has continuously allowed John and Windy the opportunity to do what they love, which is to use the arts as a way of discipling the next generation and teaching students how to apply Biblical principles to every area of life. John and Windy now own the Artios Academies of Sugar Hill and are grateful for the opportunity to work alongside these amazing families in raising these students to be “Fully Prepared”.

Director: Benjamyn Toler received a Bachelor of Arts in Music and a Master of Arts in Theatre from Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC, in 2009 and 2012, respectively. Since then, he has amassed a number of professional performing credits with the Aurora Theatre and Stage Door players, as well as, upwards to 25 directing credits with the Artios Academies in Atlanta, Georgia. He is currently serving as the artistic director for Artios Academies of Sugar Hill, as well as, celebrating the five year anniversary of both his marriage and his teaching and coaching career. He would like to thank his wife, Lana, who has always been his biggest supporter

Choreographer: Windy Lane is an accomplished dancer and choreographer with several years of teaching experience. For over fifteen years, she has had the privilege of performing, competing, and teaching dance around the country in dance studios, schools, churches, conferences, summer camps, and theatre organizations. Though Windy grew up in the secular world of dance, where she received world renowned instruction and competed at a national level throughout her high school years, her love for choreographing quickly outgrew her passion for being on the stage. The Lord has continuously allowed Windy the opportunity to do what she loves, which is to use dance as a way of discipling the next generation and teaching students how they can use the gift of the arts as a way to honor and glorify Christ.  Windy currently serves as Head of the Dance Department and Co-Owner, along with her husband, John Lane, of Artios Academies of Sugar Hill.

Assisstant Choreographer: Avery Sullivan, a senior at Artios, has enjoyed the amazing privilege of being the assistant choreographer for Tuck Everlasting. While working to earn her dance and theater diplomas, Avery has trained in ballet numerous hours per week and has also choreographed for elementary and middle school productions, spring and winter concerts, and dance recitals. She is thankful for the chance to be a part of the choreography process for a high school production for the first time, and she has grown to love and appreciate all that goes into the production process—from observing the creation of the characters’ world, to seeing first-hand so much of the work performed by people on and off stage, and then finally, watching the world come to life. Avery would like to express her heartfelt gratitude to Mrs. Windy and Mr. Toler for this opportunity and for their endless support and guidance; she has no doubt that God placed these particular people in her life for a specific purpose. Avery hopes you are as enchanted by the story of the Tucks as she is!

Technical Director: Chris Legg is incredibly honored to be a part of this remarkable show. He is currently putting the final touches on a Kinesiology Degree. Though the medical field has taught him much, he is currently pursuing technical directorship as his primary passion.  Being one of the lead production directors for 12 Stone Church at the Braselton campus, he has been strongly pulled into the world of lighting design and production management. Chris met his beautiful and gifted wife, Jessie Sterner Legg, while they were both students of Artios Gwinnett back in 9th grade.  Whether as current teachers, future parents, or general supporters, they both believe wholeheartedly in the foundations of this program. They are passionate about leading the kids in their life into boldness and character through the arts. They are grateful to have such a rich history with this school, and now, to have an opportunity to re-invest what it once offered to them.

Costumer Designer: Brandy Huneycutt is the mother of two Artios students.  She has been teaching the Minis at Artios for eleven years and creating costumes for all of the productions for the past nine years.
