Note From the Director:
The most interesting thing about this show is that it is written by Ian Fleming, the same author of the James Bond stories that have delighted us since the 1950's.
And what is this story about? An inventor who creates a car that floats and flies. And the villains are spies and all-powerful maniacs from Eastern European countries. But all delivered in such a fun, family way to distance the author from any of the James Bond characters. I find that connection to be priceless.
And, of course, we have the music of the Sherman Brothers who wrote so many endearing scores for Disney animated classics; MARY POPPINS, JUNGLE BOOK, MICKEY MOUSE CLUB and others.
I have just adored this show for years. This is Arena Fair’s 6th season opener and we hope that you enjoy it as much as we have.
