  • Doug Santana

    Director

    Mr. Santana has been a presence in the Bay Area theatre community for the past thirty years and has been involved in the Archbishop Mitty Performing Arts department since he directed Room Service in 1998. His productions have been recognized by The Stage Top Honor Awards, The Rita Moreno Awards, and The National Youth Theatre Awards, including his 2018 production of Bright Star (Winner: Best Musical from The Rita Moreno Awards and NYT) and 2020 production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time (Winner: Best Director from NYT). As an actor, Mr. Santana has appeared in national tours and regional productions across the United States and Canada. Most recently he was seen as Francis Hensall in One Man, Two Guvnors (Palo Alto Players). Mr. Santana is in his sixth year as the Director of Performing Arts at Archbishop Mitty. Thank you to his beautiful wife, Elizabeth, and his awesome kiddo, Maddie, for all the love! GO PUFFS! THIRD OR NOTHING!

  • Lauren Bevilacqua

    Music Coordinator

    Ms Bevilacqua is currently in her fifth year as Orchestra Director at Archbishop Mitty.  She has musically directed shows at AMHS since 2015 including The Addams Family, Beauty and the Beast, Peter & the Starcatcher, Les Miserables, Bullets Over Broadway, Bright Star, Cinderella, Mamma Mia, and most recently, served as the music coordinator for original student compositions for The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. She has worked as a musical director for children’s and professional theater companies including Palo Alto Players, Los Altos Stage Company, San Jose Stage Company, and The Tabard Theater. Thank you to the cast, crew, and student composers for taking on this year’s unique challenges in order to create art.
