 Director's Notes

This is a classical full length musical so I will try to keep my director notes short...

    Camelot.

I described this musical on Gary Hartl's "Breakfast Club" show as starting light,

turning dark, and ultimately ending with hope. It gives our actors a chance to

take their characters through a difficult journey that requires great maturity,

and I can proudly say that you will enjoy watching these actors display their

skills on our stage. We have learned that it does not matter if you are a king

on a quest to civilize, a queen torn between the two men she loves, powerful

knights or a cobbler wailing from nailing his thumb we all have things (and

people) to help us through the dark times and even though we are all just a

drop in a great ocean, at times we all sparkle and that comes from a

wonderful magic inside every one of us. So please share your magic with

others and thank those that share theirs with you so that we can always have

hope in our lives. I am thrilled that you have chosen to accept our magic and

    share yours with us tonight.
