Welcome to Alleman High School's 2016 production of musical theatre featuring Disney's "Mary Poppins the Musical." It is my wish, along with the cast, production staff, and all involved with the show that this be an evening of memories and magical enjoyment for you.
The production is, in itself, a unique undertaking, and I believe it has been a source of great pride for the cast to be involved in its creation. In doing such a show (or any for that matter), there are those many dedicated individuals who, through their time, energy, and volunteer spirit to the arts make it all "come to life" for you on stage. I wish to thank them deeply for their talents and support, and most of all I wish to thank you, our patrons, for being here tonight and for your support to performing arts at Alleman High School.
Alleman is extremely proud to have "Mary Poppins" fly in with all of your favorite, familiar songs and characters (as well as a few new ones), from the award winning film that audiences have enjoyed for over 50 years. Enjoy the Disney "magic" that will bring the P.L. Travers story of Mr. and Mrs. Banks, Jane and Michael, Bert the chimney sweep, and our favorite nanny to a "Supercalifragilisticexialidocious" stage version experience.
It has been a distinct pleasure to be involved in this production and with such fine talent in these performers. Thank you for this opportunity.
