Julie has performed in "Peter Pan Jr.", "Little Mermaid Jr.", "Singin’ in the Rain Jr.", "Hunchback of Norte Dame", "Seussical", "Airline", "Mary Poppins", "Meet the Creeps" and "Newsies" with Alden CS.

Her favorite part about participating in Shrek was calling it "Egg: The Musical" and the many memories made with the Duloc Dancers. She truly loved getting to know all the new freshmen and strengthening her friendships with the cast.

After Graduation Julie will be attending Canisius College to study in the Animal Behavior Ecology and Conservation (ABEC) Program.

Haleena Haddad

as Dragon

Senior

This is Haleena’s first year here at Alden HS so Shrek is her first production here and feels the experience being Dragon has been a joy. At her previous school, Cheektowaga Central, she was involved in the musical productions throughout middle and high school. Haleena has also preformed at the Lancaster Opera House.

Her favorite part about participating in Shrek was all the amazing people she got to meet. She feels that this has been a wonderful experience and she is glad she was able to put on a show for her senior year. Haleena is thankful for all the directors, fellow cast members and family for making it possible.

After graduation Haleena plans to go to college to become a paralegal then further her education to become a lawyer. She would also like to continue performing in musicals during college.

Emily Jablonski

as Pinocchio

Senior

During middle school Emily performed in "Peter Pan Jr.", "The Little Mermaid Jr." and "Singing' in the Rain Jr." While in high school she performed in "Seussical", "Airline", "Mary Poppins", "Meet the Creeps", "Newsies" and "Christmas Shorts Online". Emily has also performed in numerous shows through ACTS.Her favorite part about participating in Shrek was learning the dances for "What's up Duloc" and "Morning Person".

After graduation Emily will attend Medaille College and pursue education in Veterinary Technology.
