From Todd Etelson:
ATNY would like to give a heart pumping thank you to Carl Anthony Tramon, for his hard work, time, dedication and most importantly, his love and passion for the kids. A true professional and friend.
We'd also like to thank all the parents who have graciously given their time over the course of rehearsals and shows, to help further the passion of their kids.
Also a big thank you to Lindsay and Robert for their help in preparing the kids for this great run, as well as Michelle from Greenwich Performing Arts, for her support, professionalism and continued alliance. We cherish you!
ATNY is proud of all our young actors and we hope this Inaugural run of Matilda the Musical creates a memory for all of you to cherish and look back on with joy and love.
From Carl Anthony Tramon:
CAT has building-loads of people to thank, but wants to start with the cast, the most talented, energetic, positive (and possibly loudest) individuals to ever roam the planet. We heard over and over that you accomplished things you never thought you could do. You challenged yourselves, which means more than anything. Your hard work and dedication to improving every aspect of your performance so dramatically improves the show. Can I keep you forever?
Thank you to A.R.T./New York Theatres staff, especially Kendra, Sarah, and Chris, who have been so incredibly helpful and supportive through our journey here.
The hugest thank you in the universe goes to Jennifer Cooper, who has been my right-hand and left-hand person throughout this process. To say she is irreplaceable is an understatement. And at the base of it all, she is one magnificent person. She's also a great performer, fyi!
A special thank you goes out to Kathryn McManus, Kelly Knowles, and Anna Von Wiegand, who have given of themselves so completely and thanklessly during the final stretch.
Huge hugs to Robert Taylor Jr., who has been my bud for so many years. You are astonishingly brillant. There is no one with whom I like collaborating better.
Thank you to Lindsay Spangenthal, who is a musical genius an all-around amazing person.
Thank you to Devin Vogel, Lighting Designer extraordinaire, who flew all the way from Los Angeles to be here with us. Can't imagine anyone better in theatre.
Thank you to Gio for all his technical work - and his contagious smiles.
Thank you to Daniel Roth who stepped in to run sound for us. "So many mics!!!"
Thank you to Meredith Kennedy, who provided the show graphics (as well as a supremely talented daughter!)
Thank you to Michelle Marceau for her warmth and guidance.
Thank you to Rhino Theatre for costumes and props!
Thank you to Meadowlands Gymnastics Academy for equipment!
I saved Todd Etelson for last, and for good reason. My partner in crime, you have not only a tremendous acting company and school, but also a tremendous heart. You are dynamic to no end, and probably the best acting coach I've ever seen. Because you care.
