 MEET THE DIRECTOR 


Patty Everett is a a Jacksonville native.    She was seen on the stage in five musicals at the Northeast Florida Conservatory and one at the Orange Park Community Theatre.  Patty taught the children’s theatre classes and summer camp for four years.  She has worn many hats backstage including Costumes,  Stage Manager, and Assistant Director for Annie 2017. 


Before coming to the NFC, Patty ran her own JPII Theatre program for home schoolers.   She directed Peter Pan with a cast of forty-nine children.  More recently, she directed The Sound of Music with an all children cast. Last summer, Patty directed the last show for the Northeast Florida Conservatory, Pride and Prejudice. 

 

She is also a Registered Nurse and Writer.  Patty has been published in Plastic Surgical Nursing, Jacksonville Medical Journal, and Vegetarian Baby and Child.  Her first children’s book is in the process of publication right now.  She is also finishing her first novel.  Patty’s next adventure is to direct a teens and twenties musical at OPCT in the spring!

 

Patty would like to thank Bill DiStanisloa and the production team (Rick Chapman, Erin Krull, Gavin Turner, Lori Turner, Juanelle Marshall,  Hannah Fields,  and Carolynn Smith) for their support and hard work on this show. Most of all, the cast and crew of Miracle would like to thank Jamie Glavich for the use of her space and allowing us to make it our home for the last eight weeks.
