I was the only one who ever pursued a career in music and was wonderfully supported by my family through it all. In THE LITTLE MERMAID Ariel’s family sings and makes music together. One of the last lines her father says is, “Ariel can speak for herself”, encouraging Ariel to speak/sing from the heart for what she wants.
I’d like to dedicate this production to the memory of my Mom, Patricia Hellyer, who always encouraged me to find my voice and share it with the world.
