Carlos Lemus Acevedo (construction crew) is excited to be working as a first-year technician after exclusively performing before. Previous work includes at Wakefield High School: In the Garden of Live Flowers, In the Heights, The Sting, and Peter and the Star Catcher. At Signature Theatre: 12 Million Footsteps, The Spoken Word. at DAR Constitution Hall: 2018 Horatio Alger Awards, 2019 Horatio Alger Awards. In his free time, Carlos also does photography and makes music. He would like to thank everyone for their support.
Anabelle Lombard (Liz/Ensemble) is extremely excited and honored to perform in her second Wakefield production! Past roles include Fiona in Shrek jr, Ponyboy in The Outsiders, Sanchez and Molly’s Understudy in Peter and the Starcatcher, Brooke Wyndham in Legally Blonde jr, and many others. Anabelle spends her free time doing visual art. In fact, she designed the logo for this performance! She would like to thank her friends and family for supporting her. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Chiara Luepke (Dance Captain) is a sophomore and is very excited to be performing in another Wakefield show. She has performed in The Drowsy Chaperone (ensemble), Sing Down the Moon (wife), A Night in the Asylum and multiple productions during middle and elementary school. She has been on stage since she was five! Chiara also loves to dance and is a competitive Irish dancer who is qualified for the North American championships. She would like to thank the incredible cast, crew, and directors for their talent and dedication to the show!
Cori Lutz (Build/Paint crew) after being stage manager for 2 shows at Gunston Middle School (Dorothy in Wonderland and The Rehearsal) and building the set for the show earlier this year (Peter and the Starcatcher) she is very excited to return for another show, especially because it’s a musical. She would also like to thank her friend Renee for keeping a smile on her face the whole time, and I guess her family, too.
Melena Orleans Meek (Ensemble, Judge, u/s Mama Morton) is super excited to be joining the Wakefield Players once more this Spring. Her previous credits with them include Four Star and Countess in The Sting, Ensemble in The Drowsy Chaperone, and Fighting Prawn in Peter & the Starcatcher. Upcoming is Brenda in Our Place in June at Wakefield. Melena has also started working with Encore Stage & Studio in their summer productions. She is also proud to announce she will be participating in Signature Theatre's SigWorks program again this year. Melena would like to thank her friends and family as well as her directors and fellow actors.
Nina Michael (Assistant Stage Manager, Paint Crew) is excited to be a part of her fifth show at Wakefield. She has previously been in various roles in the tech theatre for In the Heights, The Sting, The Drowsy Chaperone, and Peter and the Starcatcher. Outside of theatre, she is in the Wakefield High School Marching Band and the Wakefield Yorktown Winterguard. She would like to thank the tech as a whole for their support, especially the seniors who work so hard to make tech happen.
