  • Jeremiah Kraniak head shot

    Jeremiah Kraniak

    Local conductor and native of New Haven, MI, Jeremiah Kraniak holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Music Education from Saginaw Valley State University and a Masters of Music Degree in conducting from Central Michigan University. In addition to his appointment as the Music Director of the SCS, he participates in many acclaimed clinics, conferences, and festivals throughout the year.

    Ric Roberts

    Ric is very proud that in 2017 he will be celebrating his 42nd year in theatre. The veteran actor/director has an impressive list of credits at Pit & Balcony, SVSU, Bay City Players, and the 1997 Off-Broadway Musical production of "That’s Life!" in New York City. Ric is currently serving as chair of the department of theatre at Saginaw Valley State University where he is a full Professor. He received his BA in Theatre from SVSU and his M.F.A. in Drama/Theatre for the Young from Eastern Michigan University. He studied professionally at the New Actors Workshop in New York City. Ric is also involved with the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival, serving as Region III Chair, and is volunteer theatrical director of the Saginaw Choral Society where he sings in the tenor section.

    Dr. Carl Angelo

    Dr. Carl Angelo is the Director of Music and Fine Arts/Organist at First Presbyterian Church of Flint, Michigan. He has served on the faculty of Saginaw Valley State University as Artist in Piano and Organ, music director/organist at First Congregational Church, Saginaw, Michigan (1999-2010), and First Presbyterian Church, Winter Haven, Florida (1990-1999), establishing popular concert series in both communities. He holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from Indiana University where he studied with Larry Smith. He was the winner of the 1987 American Guild of Organists Young Artist Competition, Indianapolis, Indiana and is a member of Pi Kappa Lambda National Music Honorary Society. He holds Master of Music and Bachelor of Music degrees from Kent State University where he studied organ with John D. Herr and John Ferguson, and piano with Robert Palmieri.
