    Kiera Shackelford is delighted to be tackling her first lead role in an RSMT production as Belle. Kiera has performed in a wide variety of stage plays and musicals in both high school and college. Some favorites include her role as "Cinderella" in the Rodgers & Hammerstein’s musical, Laurey in "Oklahoma," Iris in "Still Life with Iris" and Ophelia in "The Hamlet Project." Kiera is currently a senior in Franklin College, having graduated valedictorian from Merrillville HS in 2014. She is treasurer of Theta Alpha Phi, a national theater honor’s fraternity and the president of the drama club. She is also a recent recipient of the Robert Wise award for her work in the musical revue "Side by Side by Sondheim." She received the Jerauld J. Reinhart Scholarship. Kiera would like to give special thanks to her parents for supporting her dream. She would also like to give a warm remembrance to her late best friend Domonique (Toni) Smith who inspired her love for theatre.

    Jacob is best known for his role of the Phantom in "The Phantom of the Opera," but he has played many roles from chorus to leads. He started his career at the age of 6 weeks when his mother walked him on stage in the chorus of "The Music Man." When he was 18 months he played the younger brother of Billy in “ BIG” the musical. He went on to play Chip in “Beauty and the Beast”, Charlie in “Oliver”, Tommy in "The Music Man" and Jud in "Oklahoma". Last year he was seen as the Baker in "Into the Woods", and a brother in "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" for RSMT. Jacob is attending St. Mary's of the Woods to major in Voice, where as a freshman, he was cast as one of the leads in "You're Perfect, I Love You Now Change", was a member of the Woods Ensemble, and was awarded "Best Up and Coming performer." Jacob is a recent recipient of the Jerauld J. Reinhart Scholarship.
