A recognized playwright and lyricist, Gail has directed Tennessee Williams’ "The Glass Menagerie", "A Streetcar Named Desire", and more recently, Michael Frayn’s "Noises Off" for Rome Little Theatre. Her directing credits range from Shakespeare to modern theatre, drama to farce. She has served as Artistic Director for The Minorca Playhouse, GMT Productions and Florida Shakespeare Festival. Gail has received nominations for excellence in theatre from the Florida Press and her librettos for "Two Gentlemen of Verona" and "Lewis and Clark" were honored with US touring grants. Gail holds a BA in Theatre with an English Minor from the University of Miami. She studied writing under Nobel Laureate, Isaac Bashevis Singer, received an Individual Artist Grant in theatre from the Georgia Arts Council and along with her husband received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Rome Area Council for the Arts. Gail lives between the Rivers in downtown, Rome.
This is Tim's 4th production with RLT, and his first as Producer. Tim has worked as backstage crew for three previous shows. He is extremely proud of this production, cast, and crew, and would like to thank Gail, Carol, and RLT for giving him this opportunity.
Mr. Anderton studied directing, acting and other scholarly avenues under the tutelage of Francis Imbuga, one of the foremost African playwrights as well as the preeminent Brechtian and Shakespearean scholar, editor and author, Peter Thomson. He holds professional membership with the Society of American Fight Directors, British Academy of Stage and Screen Combat and the Medieval & Renaissance Drama Society. Recently his adaptation of Shakespeare’s "As You Like It" toured the English midlands with the Ripped Script Theatre Company.
