 WHO'S WHO 

ALYSSA WILEY (Goblin): This is Alyssa’s second performance ever. She premiered as the Fairy Godmother in the children’s performance of Cinderella and has had the acting bug ever since. She is an avid drama queen at home and a complete entertainer for her family. She is very excited that her first major production is with her father.

 

APRIL DUPREE (Gloin): April Dupree is making her fourth appearance with the RCP. Her previous roles have been ensemble in Fiddler on the Roof and Smokey Joe's Café, and Aunt Lulu in the 2018 production of Footloose: The Musical. When I grow up I want to help others on their worst day. Helping with any sort of disaster is my passion! I am really looking forward to being in another production with my daughter. Enjoy the show!"

 

CHRIS WILEY (Thorin): Christopher Wiley is a husband, father, pastor, teacher, and is now getting back to another passion of his life, acting. Through high school and college he did shows such as: Newsies, Guys and Dolls, Peter Pan, and Once Upon Mattress. All while performing in select choirs. He has performed at such places as Chicago, Boston, Knoxville, and even the famous Carnegie Hall in New York. He is glad to be back doing something he has loved since he was a kid.

 

EVANGELINE DUPREE (Goblin): At only 11 years old, this is Evangeline’s fourth production with the RCP. She has appeared in the Kid’s Camp productions of Annie in 2015 and Willy Wonka in 2016 as well as the 2017 production of Smokey Joe’s Cafe. She is very excited to be a part of The Hobbit and performing with her mom!

 

HANNAH BALLENTINE (2nd Elf / Grocery Boy): Hannah is a 14-year-old freshman at Goodpasture Christian School. She is ecstatic to perform in her tenth show with the Robertson County Players! Her most recent shows with RCP include Beauty and the Beast Jr., Little Women, and Footloose: The Musical. When she was younger, Hannah was chosen to perform in her high school’s productions of Seussical the Musical and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Outside of acting, she enjoys singing with the Willow Oak Chorale and participating in church events. She would like to give a huge thank you to her directors for giving her the opportunity to be a part of this classic tale. Hannah has had a blast rehearsing with the incredible cast and crew. “Enjoy the show!”

 

HEATHER TURNAGE (Bofur): Heather loves local theater and has been a fan of the RCP for several years. She previously helped with lighting for Footloose: The Musical. She is very excited to make her first RCP appearance and for the opportunity to be onstage with her family.

 

JORDAN TURNAGE (Goblin): Jordan has always loved The Hobbit movies and is excited to have the opportunity to be a goblin. This is Jordan's 4th RCP production, having been in two children's productions, Willy Wonka and Cinderella (as one of the Narrators) and part of the kid’s ensemble in Smokey Joe's Cafe. He wants you to know that he is 8 years old and this is the first time he has been in a play with his parents.

 

KEVIN DELISLE (Gandalf): This is Kevin’s third production with Robertson County Players. Previously, he appeared as Sheridan Whiteside in The Man Who Came To Dinner and Mr. Spencer in Anne of Green Gables. Most recently,he has appeared as Christmas Present in Lakewood Theater’s production of A Christmas Carol. His previous onstage roles include Oscar Madison in The Odd Couple at the Clarksville Civic Theater, The Cowardly Lion in Wizard of Oz with Patchwork Players and Ebenezer Scrooge in the Community Players’ production of A Christmas Carol for several years. He spends his days in the Solution Center with T-Mobile, where he has been for 10 years. He resides in Greenbrier with his beautiful musician wife, Darith, and menagerie of critters, including three dogs, one cat, an indoor bird, outdoor birds with lots of feeders and the occasional possum when he doesn’t secure the trash properly. His heart is full of gratitude for RCP and cherishes the time he spends pretending to be someone else.

 

LEWIS WALLING (Bilbo Baggins): Lewis Walling is excited to return to the RCP stage; he is most often found in the orchestra pit and/or the director's chair. He has worked with the RCP for over 30 years in a long list of productions. In his daily life, he serves as a data supervisor with Robertson County Schools and attempts to keep up with his wife, Julie, and two daughters, Emily and Katie.

 

MATTHEW OSBORNE (Gollum / Kili):Matthew Osborne (Kili/Gollum)-Matthew is thrilled to work alongside RCP once again. He loves music, video games, and dogs. He dreams to one day become a successful voice actor and work alongside his heroes, Keith Silverstein and Matthew Mercer. He would like to thank his directors for this opportunity.

 

MIKE SHROPSHIRE (Bert / Nori): A lifelong Tolkien fan, Mike is making his fifth appearance with the Robertson County Players, having previously appeared in Ragtime, Fiddler on the Roof, Oklahoma!, and most recently Footloose: The Musical. Mike is a dedicated husband and father, and he would like to thank his loving wife and children for their sacrifices to allow him to live out his dream to live in Middle Earth, even if just for a few hours on a few September evenings.

 

ROBERTA GUERRA (Bombur): Roberta is a 26 years old El Paso native. She is thrilled to be a part of The Hobbit as her first production as a Tennessean. She would like to thank her family and loved ones who have supported her throughout this production.
