  • Becky Lillie Woods

    Director

    Becky is the Co-Founder and Artistic Director of RCT. She has a Master of Arts in Teaching Music from Lehman College and a BFA in Musical Theatre from Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music. Among her Directing credits: Beauty and the Beast,You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown, Dear Edwina, Seussical, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Les Miserables. Under her direction, the Riverdale Children's Theatre has been recognized as one of the nation's top children's theatre companies by both American Towns Media and Backstage Magazine. Many of her students have gone on be accepted to many of the top theatre and music programs in the country, such as Wagner College, Ithica College, AMDA and Hartt School of Music. In 2015 Becky was nominated for TONY Awards" Excellence in Theater" education award. She is also proud to serve on the Special Education Committee for the Archdiocese of New York since 2010.

Regional: Les Miserables & Hello, Dolly at Arkansas Rep, The Gifts of the Magi & The Fantasticks with The Human Race, assisting on The Producers & Light in the Piazza at Pioneer Theatre, & Les Miserables at North Shore.

  • Krystal Hall-Glass

    Choreographer

    Recognized by the LaGuardia High School for the Performing Arts as one of its "notable alumni," Krystal- Hall Glass appeared on Broadway in "The Wiz" while attending the Julliard School on a dance scholarship. After an illustrious performing career, Ms. Hall-Glass became the first African American graduate from SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Dance with a MFA in Performance/Teaching. She toured nationally and internationally as principle dancer with Kevin Iega Jeff’s highly acclaimed Jubilation! Dance Company garnering a Bessie nomination and numerous reviews for her solo dance performances. As a teaching artist Ms. Glass has instructed at Lincoln Center Institute, LaGuardia High School of the Performing Arts, Newark's Arts High School, Professional Performing Arts High School, Howard University, City College, SUNY Purchase, and is currently a teaching artist for Alvin Ailey American Dance Center.
