DIRECTOR'S NOTE
I have been a fan of Almost, Maine since I first read the show in 2009. I have watched other Parkway High Schools produce the show, wishing that I could as well. When I discovered that the middle school edition of Almost, Maine was available, I jumped at the chance to perform it. What a great way to teach student actors about character and emotions then a play with those themes. It has been a learning experience for both teacher and students in the exploration of character and scene and I have enjoyed the process.
I would like to thank the cast and crew that have worked really hard to make this show so much fun.
To Paige and Lukas, thank you for taking the time to come and help. I appreciate all that you have done.
To my family and friends, who are always there when I call for help, from taking out my dog to running errands for the play. I am truly grateful to have such a great support system in my life.
Finally, to the audience, thank you for your support of Southwest Middle School's Theatre Department. We appreciate your attendance this evening.
