Leah  Leah Skorupa-Mezger, Costume Design, is a freelance

costume designer and seamstress who spends the bulk of

her time balancing sewing with being a stay-at-home mom

to three boys: Ziggy (3), Malcolm (5), and Alex (8). She

holds a BFA in Music Theatre from UNK and a Certificate

of Fashion Studies from Parsons School of Design, NYC.

As a former employee of Ralston Costume, Leah was

involved in the costuming of well over 100 shows at

various high schools and community theatres around the

area. Since starting out on her own, her favorite shows have included  Beauty and the Beast and Once on this Island. This is her fifth year at Burke and she is thrilled to again have the opportunity to work with these amazing students! Thanks to Emily for being such a fantastic director and to Leah's husband, Tom for more things than she could ever list here.
