Ava Gilley
as Ariel
Ava Gilley (Ariel) is honored to be playing her dream role of Ariel in the Little Mermaid Jr.! You may have seen her previously as The Cat In The Hat in Seussical the Musical or most recently as the Genie in Aladdin. Other than musical theater, Ava also plays volleyball year round. Ava would like to thank her friends and family for all their love and support, as well as Mrs. Johanson for helping her with songs outside of practice and inspiring her and Ms. Pulda for never giving up on her and making this dream reality. as Prince Eric
John is thrilled to be playing Prince Eric in this year’s musical. You may have seen him last year as Aladdin or as Humpty Dumpty in Law and Order: Fairy Tale Unit. He would like to thank his family for driving him everywhere, his brother who helps him perfect each song and line, and to his amazing girlfriend Ava who is playing Ariel and has helped him with everything leading up to the show. Ella Rees
as Sebastian
This Ella's third production with the McCord drama club. She played Jafar, in last years production of Aladdin. In the one-act play of Law and Order, she played B.B. Wolf. She is so excited to be playing Sebastian in this year's Little Mermaid. Ella would like to thank her parents for always putting up with her accents. She would also like to thank her sister Ailis for helping her run lines, and her exchange student Kamilla (like a sister) for agreeing not to run lines, Ella did not want to spoil the surprise. Ella’s costume would not have existed if it weren’t for her Aunt Terri who made it look so amazing and did it very fast. Most importantly, Ella would like to thank her director, Ms. Pulda, for giving her the opportunity to change characters. Ella has been cast as villains many times, and Sebastian came as sort of a challenge. From our cast family to yours, we all hope you enjoy the show!
