Julie has worked at Lennox for over twenty years and has been a loyal audience member of MCT. This is her first time on the MCT stage. However her sons, Will and Casey Cook, have appeared on our stage in plays and improvisation groups. In addition, Julie's granddaughter, Olivia, played the title role in MCT's summer production of "Annie" in 2012 making the Cook's a three generation MCT family!
Grant is a member of the MCT Board of Directors as the liaison for Sound and Lights. He has designed the technical effects for several MCT productions and also assists with technical support at the Orpheum Theater Center. His on-stage credits include "Almost, Maine" and "Dracula, The Musical". Grant is an active member of The Brotherhood of Steel, Inc., a renaissance re-enactment troupe.
Janel's list of significant acting and directing credits at MCT is a long one! She was most recently seen in "On Golden Pond". She is the clinical office manager for Family Medicine East and After Hours Clinic for McFarland Clinic in Ames. She and husband, Kevin, recently celebrated the wedding of daughter, Kelli, and are busy planning the upcoming wedding of daughter, Jill.
Kevin is a well-known face both on stage & as the lead set designer & construction manager for over 30 years. He has appeared in many memorable productions including "On Golden Pond", "Of Mice and Men" & "Death of a Salesman". He is active in the Lions Club and MHS athletics and has been employed by Fisher/Emerson for 40 years. He and Janel also enjoy hosting international exchange students.
Kraig is a native resident of Marshalltown has been involved at MCT since he was just a youngster! He has appeared in several productions and has been at his father, Kevin's, side building sets since he was old enough to swing a hammer. He is a member of the police force, currently assigned to Marshalltown High School working with students, faculty and staff. He has enjoyed playing multiple roles!
