Laura Beeman Nugent
Director and Choreographer
Laura Beeman Nugent, helped co-found the Shreveport Little Theatre Academy in 2007 and has served as choreographer since its inception, most recently being named as Academy Artistic Director. In 2010, Mrs. Nugent joined the LCP Staff as the Theater teacher and loves seeing the department flourish in these last years. Past shows for LCP include Les Mis Concert, Hairspray Jr, Beauty and the Beast Jr, and Songs for a New World. Most recently, she has established a Competition Theatre Team that competes at Louisiana International Thespians State Festival, Centenary Theatre Festival, and District/State Rally for Louisiana. Educationally, she served as a Tour Actor and Director for the Missoula Children’s Theatre Company, a touring company specializing in theatre for children. Mrs. Nugent would like to thank the cast and crew for their unending hard work and dedication to the undertaking of such a huge show.

Amanda Hock
Musical Director
Amanda Hock is Director of CCD and Youth Ministries at the Cathedral of St. John Berchmans. She attended Centenary College where she majored in Music and Biology, as well as completing her MAT for Music Education. The stage is no stranger to her. She has performed in countless orchestra and choir concerts in the US and around the world. Amanda was also very active in community theater during her younger years where her favorite roles played were Sour Kangaroo in Suessical the Musical, Gabriella in High School Musical, and being in the ensemble for Les Miserables. Since then, she has channeled her love of music and theater to teaching. She got her start at St. Joseph Catholic School as the music teacher and drama club director. This is her first time musical directing for LCP and is grateful for the opportunity. Enjoy the show!

Susan Brady
Scenic Designer
Susan Brady is a well known artist in the Shreveport Bossier area and serves as the Art Teacher and Art Club Sponsor at Loyola College Prep. Community outreach is a large part of her life and she enjoys sharing her talents with programs at Holy Angels.
