“Welcome to Agrabah, City of Enchantment, where every beggar has a story and every camel has a tail!”  Thank you for coming today and supporting our performance of Aladdin Jr. Onstage you will see 37 hard-working, fun-loving, talented 4th and 5th grade students from Laurel School tell a tale with an important message -- being true to yourself.  This is Laurel’s first ever Spring Musical production, and I am very excited to have the opportunity and privilege of directing it.  The show could not have happened without the help of my assistant, Piper Redman, the support of Laurel School staff, and the many behind-the- scenes volunteers who worked tirelessly to organize costumes, posters, t-shirts, snacks, programs, and so much more. And, for the students, I am so proud of you! I am impressed with your talent, your courage, and your commitment of time and energy to this production from start to finish. I am honored to be your director! Keep up the singing, dancing, and acting!

I hope you enjoy the performance today, and thanks again for coming!

Mrs. Bergeron
