(Anya - Anastasia at James B. Conant HS) couldn’t be more grateful to have been chosen as a nominee! Favorite roles include Belle (Beauty & the Beast), Rona Lisa Peretti (Spelling Bee), and Annabeth (The Lightning Thief). She wants to give all glory to God and a huge thank you to her wonderful family, friends, teachers, and most of all, her parents. Their endless support and love mean everything to her!

(Cady Heron - Mean Girls at Cary-Grove HS) is so honored to be a nominee for IHSMTA. Past credits: Val in A Chorus Line, Bea Bottom in Something Rotten, and All-State Musical cast of Shrek. She will be attending Oklahoma City University for musical theatre. She would like to thank her family, friends and especially Rob Boncosky and Michelle Hackman for their support and love.

Luke Skorija
(George - Sunday In The Park George at Crystal Lake South HS) is honored to be a 2023 IHSMTA Nominee. Recently, he has played Joseph in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and George in Sunday in the Park with George. This fall he plans to study music therapy at the University of Louisville’s School of Music. He would like to thank his family, friends, and mentors for their constant support of his theatrical endeavors.

Joi “JayTee” Terrell
(Daniel - Once On This Island at Thornton Fractional North HS) is so grateful for the lessons theatre has taught them. In addition to Daniel, they were LaCienga in TF North’s production of Bring It On: The Musical. They also competed in Speech, finishing 4th in state in Humorous Duet Acting. “With only 2 years of experience, I never knew I’d develop a connection so strong. I plan on continuing theatre training through college”.
