    Jon Landon Knopf, a seventh grader, plays the role of Alonzo in the performance CATS. He has participated in many plays throughout his school career and has portrayed roles such as King Saul, a laid-back jock, and a rapper. He has competed in the spelling bee and the geography bee. Jon Landon loves to play soccer and basketball. He is a member of First Baptist Church Hickory Withe. Jon Landon enjoys spending time with his parents, John and Susan Knopf, his older brother, Tyler Henley, who is married, and his nephew Samuel. Jon Landon always keeps God first, family second, academics third, friendships fourth, and athletics fifth. He wants to thank his parents and friends for sticking with him through all of the practices for this amazing play. He hopes you enjoy the show.

    George VanDyke, a 13-year-old 7th grader and the son of Joe and Wendy VanDyke, is very happy to be able to be a part of Cats the Musical. He loves to act and has been in many school plays and the Hardeman County Arts Council’s production of A Christmas Carol. George is a Christian, attends First United Methodist Church in Bolivar, TN, and participates in the youth group. This summer he went on a mission trip in Grundee County. George’s favorite sport is basketball. George is a Boy Scout and attends meetings in the Somerville Troop 95 at the Presbyterian Church. He likes hanging out with friends, especially his best friend Jon Landon Knopf. George hopes you enjoy the show!
