 End Notes

A Note from the Director

Welcome to Curtain and Lights Theatre Company's 13th production and the kick off to our 8th Season!

We are so excited to bring this beloved Christmas Story to the stage for each of you to enjoy. This cast and crew are extremely talented and it has been my joy to work with each and every one of them. They have worked so hard and overcome a lot to get to this moment. As a director, I couldn't be more proud!

We are also pleased to be raising money for the Neighborhood Christian Center. The Neighborhood Christian Center (NCC) is a nonprofit organization that dedicates itself to serving the needs of the city’s poor. The strength and success of the Center lie in the compassionate ministry to practical needs as an integral part of sharing the gospel. NCC offers food, clothing, household items, emergency aid, tutorial, life skill classes and Bible studies to all it serves. The work of NCC is focused on helping children, teenagers, and adults to overcome the multiplying problems of the downward spiral of poverty: hunger, low self-esteem, lack of good examples, etc. At the core of the Center’s work is the promotion of a genuine and lasting relationship with Jesus Christ who offers renewal and a reason for living. It is our joy to be a part of this organization!

I am excited to announce our Summer 2019 Show: Annie Get Your Gun!! It is the Wild West show-within-a-show love story of Annie Oakley and Frank Butler. Featuring the amazing Irving Berlin score including "There's No Business Like Show Business," "Anything You Can Do I Can Do Better," and "I Got the Sun in The Morning."  Annie Get Your Gun has great roles available for kids, teens, and adults of all ages! Auditions will be in April 2019 with performances in the summer. If you or someone you know likes to act, sing, and dance, come audition for this classic Broadway sensation. It's gonna be a toe tapin', sharp shootin', good time!

Thank you for coming and we hope you enjoy the show!
