Joshua Scott, Director
Josh was born and raised in Springfield, Missouri and taught theatre in the North Carolina public school system for 12 years. He has been blessed with opportunities to act in New York, direct in the foothills of North Carolina, and stage manage in Virginia Beach – all at the professional level. He received his M.Ed from the University of N.C. Greensboro and his MFA in acting with a concentration in directing from Regent University. Josh has been with our CYT San Antonio affiliate here in New Braunfels since 2015. Some of his all-time favorite productions include: The Diviners, Big River, Driving Miss Daisy, The Matchmaker, Hamlet, Fiddler on the Roof, Long Day’s Journey Into Night, Peter Pan, The Last Night of Ballyhoo and J.B. Josh is a huge St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan and an even bigger fan of his family. Josh has been married to his high school sweetheart, Gina, for 22 years. They have three children, Kiersten (19), Isaiah (17), and Elijah (14).

Perry Dean, Music Director
Perry Dean, recently retired from Texas public teaching after 31 years as a high school choir director. He is currently teaching music part time at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic School in NB and is also employed as the Director of Music Ministries at St. James Catholic Church in Seguin, Texas. Choirs under his direction have received many honors and accolades and have been asked to perform at both state and national conventions. His Palacios High School Choir received a “Grammy Award” in 2013. This is Perry’s 5th show as Musical Director with CYT. His past shows include: Godspell, Fame, Elf and Legally Blonde. Perry has been married to his College sweetheart, Halcy, for 31 years. They have three children: Erica (21), Parker (18), and Harrison (12). When not making music, Perry enjoys fishing, hiking and traveling.

Bailey Garner
Bailey has been involved with CYT for the past four years. During this time, she has preformed in several of our shows, stage managed Godspell, and assistant stage managed Elf Jr, Annie Jr, and Alice In Wonderland Jr. She is furthering her theatre experience by taking part in the recently founded Christian Community Theatre. She thanks God for leading her to her second family here at CYT and all the opportunities she’s been given.
