Last Day of School - November 17 - November 18, 2017

Bald Eagle Area Drama Club

 End Notes

Notes from the Director:

I am so excited to be working with the BEA Drama Club again this year! I am very proud of this amazingly talented group of students for all of the hours of hard work that they put into this show. These young actors were able to bring The Last Day of School to life in just a few weeks of rehearsals. The play is set in a BEA-like school called Rochester High where the seniors are all coping with their last day of high school and reflecting on the past four years as their futures are approaching faster than they imagined. I am so grateful to the cast and crew for the dedication to their roles to put on such a fantastic show, Mr. Ryan Wade for his guidance and leadership, and to you for coming out to support everyones hard work. Thank you!

Notes from the Tech Director:

Creating the technical aspects this show was a lot of fun.  I tried to give everything a very intimate feel that would remind the audience of our own BEA building.  My ideas would never come to fruition without the help of some very special people:

Dan Durachko- Your ability to build exactly what I am thinking is amazing.

To my paint crew- I know some of my requests for the set made you want to pull your hair out (or throw a tape ball at me), but your work is top notch.

Cindy Cain and Madison- The costumes for this show really help to take us into a high school setting.  Your ideas and execution were incredible.

To my seniors (Who I am going to miss so, so very much)-

Michael, I greatly appreciate your thoughts and contributions to this club.  You have helped me pull off all of these shows more than you will ever know.

Heather, you have been a great student director these past two years.  The younger thespians have really benefited from your guidance.

Kiara, I'm so gald you were able to come back to drama this year.  You've done a great job.

Lindy, Your performance has been increadible this year.  I've always appreciated and will miss your attention to detail.

Emma, You have taught me more about stage managing than I could have ever taught you, and for that I am eternally greatful.

Tori, I'm so glad that you decided to participate in drama this year.  I really hope you will continue to be with us for the musical.
