The Addams Family - April 06 - April 09, 2017

Archbishop Hoban High School

Director’s Note

I am so thrilled that you have been able to join us for this Hoban Troubadour production of The Addams Family.

When I began my involvement with Hoban Theatre I was building the sets with the students for A Night Thoreau Spent in Jail, Little Shop of Horrors, and The Teahouse of the August Moon. Now as I move to the role of Director I could not have possibly asked for a better cast and crew. The dedication and talent displayed by the cast and crew of this show is awe-inspiring. There is no doubt that you will be impressed by their performance.

For more than 50 years The Addams Family has been entertaining audiences all over the world. Now this creepy, kooky, mysterious, and ooky family have the privilege to entertain on the Hoban stage. When Wednesday decides to invite her ‘normal’ boyfriend and his parents to dinner chaos ensues. Everything will change for the whole family during this one fateful night.

As I mentioned earlier I could not have had a better cast and crew but I also could not have done this show without so many others. First, I would like to thank Dr. Sweda, Ms. Hanson and Br. Bob for all of their support and dedication to the performing arts here at Hoban. Second, the parents of every member of this production deserve so much thanks. Your time, your volunteer hours, and your support is truly appreciated and for that you deserve to take a bow. Lastly, to my own mother, Helen. You have done so much to support me and it is with love that I dedicate this show to you.
